Bill Cosby`s 1970s Anti-drug Album for Kids: Say No to Pills! Video!

By Robert Paul Reyes

"`Hi, this is Bill Cosby. I`d like you to pay close attention to this album because it`s very important. We`re going to talk about amphetamines, cocaine, depressants, barbiturates, opiates, alcohol, tobacco, hallucinogens.`

That was the introduction to Cosby`s 1971 album Bill Cosby Talks to Kids About Drugs, which won him a Grammy for Best Recording for Children the next year. It was produced during a time when Cosby was making fun of drugs in some of his comedy routines. In 1969, he had joked about the aphrodisiac called Spanish Fly. In 1978, he would kid about cocaine."

Now that Bill Cosby has been exposed as a serial rapist whose modus operandi entailed drugging women and underage girls before sexually assaulting them, this 1971 anti-drug album seems especially creepy.

The disgraced comic was awarded a Grammy for Best Recording for Children for this album; needless to say the Grammys should do the right thing and strip him of his Grammy.

Cosby`s hypocrisy and chutzpah is simply amazing, at the same time he released this anti-drug album he was making jokes about spiking women`s drinks with Spanish fly.

God hasn`t answered our prayers and killed this contemptible criminal, and the statute of limitations has expired, does anyone have any ideas how we can exact revenge on the serial killer?
