Kaley Cuoco Outraged Over the Killing of Cecil the Lion

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting is as outraged as everyone else about Dr. Walter Palmer killing the beloved African lion named Cecil in Zimbabwe in July. The difference is that Cuoco-Sweeting has a social platform that allows her to make a Big Bang out of her disgust, and not just in theory.

Cuoco-Sweeting is a devoted animal lover -- her online alter ego Norman Cook is the name of her dog.

Kaley Cuoco is a beloved actress, America`s sweetheart and an animal activist. She uses her celebrity and her social media platforms to advocate for the protection of wildlife.

Unlike other celebrities, that I won`t mention, she doesn`t flood the Internet with selfies and semi-nude pics of herself; she uses her online presence to raise awareness about animal rights.

The "Big Bang" actress has written an open letter to U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service head Daniel Ashe imploring the agency to add African lions to the list of animals protected under the Endangered Species Act. Incredible as it seems, Cecil the Lion wasn`t protected under the Endangered Species Act.

We don`t have as much influence as Cuoco, put if millions of Americans send emails to Congress and the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service, hopefully legislation will be passed to protect magnificent animals like Cecil the Lion.
