Homeless Man Pleads for Return of His Pooch

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Tim Nelson has been homeless for about four years.

`I lost my job. My wife and I got into it, so I decided to leave and I`ve been out here ever since,` Nelson said. The one constant in his life has been his best friend and companion Moe, a 14-year-old Chihuahua.

A little over two weeks ago, Moe went on the run when Nelson was arrested for loitering. `I got taken to jail on Saturday night. She comes Sunday and tells me that he escaped out of her backyard,` he said.

Vivian de Jesus, also known as Grandma V took Moe home with her. But Moe escaped from her backyard."

Tim Nelson lost his job, house and his wife, but he wasn`t complaining because he still had his best friend and companion by his side, Moe, a 14-year-old Chihuahua.

Two weeks ago Nelson was arrested for loitering, when you don`t have a home it`s not uncommon to be arrested for loitering, and his pooch ran away from the home of a friend who was taking care of him while he was in jail.

Nelson is devastated, and he plastered the neighborhood where he hangs out with missing dog flyers.

The pooch came back to gas station where Nelson frequently slept, and surveillance cameras captured video of a lady carrying Moe away. This lady thought Moe was a homeless dog, but hopefully she will see one of the flyers and return him.

Moe isn`t a homeless dog, he belongs to a homeless man, and hopefully Nelson will be reunited with Moe.
