Last year, Nassau, Bahamas resident Rosie Kemp found a baby raccoon that had fallen out of a tree. The mother was nowhere to be found, so Kemp and her daughter Laura Young decided to adopt the little bandit and named her "Pumpkin.` Eventually, Pumpkin recovered from her injuries and moved in with Young and her husband.

Kemp and her daughter, Laura, nursed the raccoon, who suffered a broken back and leg, back to health. Because the Bahamas Humane Society would not take in the baby raccoon, the Kemps and their family dogs decided to adopt Pumpkin.
When I think of a raccoon I imagine a mean, ornery and rabid animal that has a penchant for rummaging through my garbage can and terrorizing the neighborhood cats.
I do not associate "cute and cuddly" with raccoons, but Pumpkin is simply adorable! Watch this delightful video of Pumpkin playing and frolicking with the Kemps` dogs.
