Paco the Pooch Stays Put Where His Owner Was Killed
"On Friday, a local news reporter from Jacksonville Florida, shared a picture of a dog lying in the road on Twitter.
Reporter Russell Colburn explained that the dog, called Paco, had been lying there, alone, for some time.
It later transpired that, at around 6.15am that morning, the dog`s owner Karen Black, 42, had been killed in a hit-and-run while they were out for a walk.
Paco had been lying near to where she was killed, waiting for her to come back, for several hours after her body was removed."
A picture is worth a thousand words, and the photograph of the pooch lying in the road speaks volumes about a dog`s loyalty and love for his human owner.
Paco remained at the site where his owner was killed in a hit-and run while they were out for a walk until his owner`s relatives arrived hours later to pick him up.
Almost all romantic relationships end in betrayal and bitter recrimination, but not even death can break the bond between a man and his dog.
A romantic relationship is like a fart, when it appears it`s a loud bang of excitement, but after a while it stinks like an old fart, but a man`s friendship with his pooch never grows old and stale.
I hope the photo of Paco will inspire you to adopt a pooch from your local animal shelter.
