Dad Carving Pumpkin With Daughter Stabs Intruder!

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A father carving a pumpkin with his daughter ended a crime spree late Tuesday when he stabbed a carjacking suspect who entered his Arlington home.

The carjacking was reported about 6:45 p.m. at a 7-Eleven in the 4900 block of Little Road. Witnesses said the man was jumping on cars before he stole one.

When he entered a home in the 3700 block of Fort Hunt Drive, he was confronted by the homeowner, Brian Hackney.

Hackney stabbed the suspect with the knife he was using to carve pumpkins, then held him down until officers arrived."

The Dallas Morning News

What do you do when you`re carving a pumpkin with your daughter, and an intruder busts through your front door?

If you`re a red-blooded American who loves your daughter and Halloween, you stab the intruder and hold him down until the cops arrive.

I would have carved him up like a Jack O`Lantern, and posted the bloody pic on Facebook as a warning to criminals to stay the hell away from my home.

Brian Hackney is a hero, he should receive a key to the city of Dallas, and I hope he and his daughter have a wonderful Halloween!
