English Judge Allows Elderly Defendant to Bring Cat to Court

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A judge in England allowed an elderly defendant to bring his cat to court in order to calm his nerves.

Seventy-two-year-old Aiden Wiltshire was allowed to wheel his black cat Taylor into Chalmsford Crown Court in a shopping cart, as he faced two counts of stalking.

Wiltshire was seen stroking the cat`s head at times during the trial and while Gratwicke admitted the oddity of Taylor`s presence, he stood by his decision to allow the cat in the courtroom."

When a judge allows an elderly defendant to bring his kitty cat to court it doesn`t take a brilliant legal mind to deduce that he`s going to rule in favor of the defendant.

The charges against the 72-year-old defendant are patently ridiculous, how in the hell is an old coot going to stalk anyone? Who can`t outrun a feeble old man, and if he really annoys you all you have to do is push him with your index finger and he will keel over and crack his skull.

The case was adjourned until next year, by that time the defendant will probably be dead.
