Donald Trump is Right: Foreign-born Ted Cruz Ineligible to be President! We Don't Need Another Obama!

By Robert Paul Reyes

Senator Ted Cruz and President Barack Obama`s political orientations may be poles apart, but otherwise they share a lot of similarities. They are both bi-racial, constitutional law experts, gifted orators, and they were both first-term senators when they decided to run for president.

They have one more thing in common, they were both born in foreign countries (Cruz was born in Canada and Obama was born in Kenya), and thus unqualified for the presidency of the greatest democracy in the world.

Obama spent millions fighting the allegations that he was foreign-born, and it wasn`t until Donald Trump pressed the issue that he felt compelled to post an image of his birth certificate on the Fight the Smears Web site in 2008.

This was a classic case of "too little too late" , it miserably failed to alleviate the concerns of millions of Americans that Obama was born in Africa, and ineligible to be president.

Obama`s original birth certificate has never been submitted to document experts for investigation and verification, and I`m still convinced he`s a fraud who`s not eligible to be a dogcatcher in Chicago, let alone President of the United States.

Ted Cruz was born in Canada to an American mother and Cuban father, but he argues that it`s "quite straightforward and settled law that the child of a U.S. citizen born abroad is a natural born citizen."

At least Cruz isn`t trying to perpetrate a fraud on the American public, he freely admits that he was born on foreign soil but insists that he`s a natural born citizen because of the aforementioned reason.

Cruz and Obama are both constitutional law experts, but the issue of whether a person born in a foreign country to a U.S citizen is a natural born citizen has never been decided by the ultimate authority, the Supreme Court.

Donald Trump is once again the one who has brought this birther issue to the forefront, and for that all of us who cherish the Constitution should be grateful.

The doubt of Cruz`s eligibility to run for president should prevent any Republican from voting for him. We elected a Kenyan to the White House and it turned out to be a complete disaster, let`s not make the same mistake again by electing a Canadian.
