"The race to the White House is gaining more attention from an even younger audience.
Most of that audience is showing support for the oldest candidate in the race " Bernie Sanders. Now a tattoo shop in Vermont is giving folks a unique way to show their support.
Heather Kovar brings us to Winooksi, Vermont where a local artist is giving out Sanders tattoos, for FREE!"
At 74 Bernie Sanders is the oldest presidential candidate from a major party ever to hit the campaign trail.
But the democratic socialist septuagenarian from Vermont has a political platform of universal healthcare, raising the minimum wage to $15, and free college tuition for state colleges and universities that appeals to a youthful demographic.
A Sanders political rally has the same vibe as a rock concert: Thousands of young people cheering encouragement to their hero, and buying T-shirts, bumper stickers -- anything that bears his visage or moniker.
Now Sanders` devotees can show their allegiance and support by getting a Sanders tattoo -- for free.
At 69 Hillary Clinton is almost as old as Bernie Sanders, but her appeal to young voters is almost nonexistent. I can`t see fans of the former Secretary of State getting a Hillary tattoo, they might plaster their walkers with political stickers, but a Hillary tattoo, don`t think so.
I`m too old to be getting any new tattoos, but I would certainly vote for Sanders over Hillary.
