Fat Model Ashley Graham Graces Cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue! Outrage!

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Former model Cheryl Tiegs blasted the new swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated because she thinks cover model Ashley Graham`s full figure is not healthy.

The magazine`s annual swimsuit issue took a different approach this year, using three different models -- fighter Rhonda Rousey, model Hailey Clauson and Graham -- as an attempt to empower women and show there is no single beautiful body type.

Kudos to former model Cheryl Tiegs for not surrendering to political-correctness, an individual in the entertainment business who speaks her own mind is a breath of fresh air.

Ashley Graham is a beautiful woman, but she should be gracing the cover of Bovine Beauty, not the swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated.

A woman who can easily be mistaken for a refrigerator shouldn`t be lauded as the ideal woman, the media shouldn`t be promoting an unhealthy lifestyle.

If Ashley Graham is offended by articles like this one, instead of calling her lawyer or  public relations manager, she should call Jenny Craig.

I call on all those who believe in healthy eating, and physical fitness, and who despise political-correctness to boycott Sports Illustrated.
