City Worker Rescues Baby Coyote From Storm Drain

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A Washington state city shared photos of a cuddly baby coyote rescued from a storm drain by a city worker.

It was unclear how the coyote ended up in the predicament, but he appeared to be uninjured following the rescue.
City officials said the worker found two other pups in the drain and placed them at the tree line of a wooded area after seeing the mother coyote nearby."

You never know what you might find in a storm drain: Used condoms, tennis shoes, a knife, a dead rat ...

But it`s not every day you find a baby coyote, make that three coyote pups.

The tiny coyote looks very safe and content snuggling in the arms of the hero who rescued him. Fortunately, this little critter has a mother, and he was reunited with his anxious mom.

Kudos to the city workers who realized that saving coyotes is probably the most important thing they will accomplish in their careers.
