Scooby-Doo Mystery Machine Leads Cops on Wild Chase

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Police in California said they are searching for a woman who led officers on a high-speed chase while driving a van painted like Scooby Doo`s Mystery Machine.

Redding police said Sharon Kay Turman, 51, was wanted on a probation violation Sunday when she was spotted operating a 1994 Chrysler minivan painted teal and green with a design inspired by the Mystery Machine from the various Scooby Doo cartoons."

When the cops spotted Turman behind the wheel of Scooby Doo`s Mystery Machine the chase exceeding 100 mph was on.

We don`t know if Turman was as high as the quintessential stoner Shaggy, but she was certainly flying down the road.

At one point the suspect struck four vehicles while speeding through a red light, she was last seen abandoning her high-profile van by a police helicopter.

Her current whereabouts are unknown, but I suspect that wherever she may be, she`s smoking a joint and laughing her fool head off.

Shame on the cops for letting a high 51-year-old woman make them look like the Keystone Kops. Never mind "Scooby Doo where are you", old pothead lady where are you?
