A sweet moment between two new friends will make your heart melt. Hand in hand, two chimpanzees who were recently introduced don`t seem to want to let go of each other despite having very different backgrounds. Terry was rescued from a small zoo and Jeannie, an elderly chimp, was rescued from a medical research lab. The pair is now living in Florida at Save the Chimps, the world`s largest chimpanzee sanctuary.

Terry spent 18 years as the sole resident of his enclosure at the Las Vegas Zoo, and Jeannie was rescued from a medical research lab.
It`s inhumane to keep any animal, especially a social animal like a chimp, in solitary confinement, and it`s an abomination to use an animal for medical research.
These two sweet animals have finally found a loving home at Save the Chimps, the world`s largest chimpanzee sanctuary.
Watching these chimps hold hands makes us wonder how supposedly morally superior human beings can be so cruel to animals.
