Hammerheads have eyes on either side of their head which makes it difficult for them to see and catch quick small baits. Many times their prey can escape however this blue runner was not so fortunate. Book a trip with Deep Blue Kayak Fishing Charters to have a chance at experiencing something like this!
YouTube video description
Sharks are relentless predators and they usually end up making mincemeat out of their prey. But hammerhead sharks are the Rodney Dangerfields of the shark world, they have eyes on either side of their ridiculous hammer-shaped head which makes it difficult for them to see and catch fish.
This little fish was able to elude the hammerhead for a while, but eventually he ended up as a snack.
Hammerhead sharks may look ridiculous, but I wouldn`t feel safe being anywhere near them.
