Will #BirdieSanders Mania Sweep Bernie Sanders to the White House?
"Bernie Sanders was delivering a stump speech before a large crowd in a college arena when a small bird landed on stage with him. The crowd reacted and Sanders looked down to spot the bird. Then, as if on cue, the bird flew up and landed on the front of Sanders` podium.
The crowd roared its approval as Sanders burst into laughter, shaking his head in disbelief at the sight. After a few seconds, the bird flew up into the rafters of the arena where Sanders was speaking.
Sanders didn`t miss a beat -- or a beak.
`I think there might be some symbolism here. I know it doesn`t look like it, but that bird is really a dove asking us for world peace,` the anti-war candidate said, to thunderous applause."
It`s not surprising that a small dove-like bird would be drawn to a candidate whose central message is peace and prosperity for all, never mind if it bankrupts the country.
It makes me wonder what kind of birds would be drawn to the other candidates?
Hillary`s shrill shouting may make most of us want to puncture our eardrums with a screwdriver, but her screaming and yelling would entice cawing crows to join her.
John Kasich is so stiff and boring that a flock of pigeons might mistake him for a statue and poop all over him.
Ted Cruz`s domestic policies are so far out that looney birds would feel right at home with him on a podium as he`s pontificating his nonsense.
Donald Trump is such a loathsome figure that there are always vultures hovering over him, just waiting for him to give up the ghost.
