Florida Woman Finds 250-pound Alligator Swimming in Backyard Pool

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A Florida woman arrived home to a shocking and unusual scene: a massive 9-foot alligator swimming in her pool.

Elizabeth Foster of Temple Terrace, near Tampa, said she was shocked Wednesday afternoon to discover her backyard pool wasn`t vacant.

Foster summoned a trapper, who was able to capture the alligator after about two hours. She posted video of the gator`s capture to YouTube."

There are hundreds of professional alligator trappers in Florida, that should have made Foster realize that it`s not uncommon to find an alligator in a swimming pool.
