CATurday at the Ballpark

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A minor league baseball in New Jersey will celebrate cats during a special `CATurday` game featuring limited edition uniforms.

The cat-themed jerseys will be auctioned off to benefit BlueClaws Charities in addition to being sold at the ballpark and online in limited qualities the following week."

Baseball is slow-paced action, hot dogs, players grabbing their crotch, catching foul balls, and cats?

There may be no crying in baseball, but for at least one day, in one minor league ballpark, there will be cats in baseball.

The Lakewood Blue Claws will wear special uniforms featuring pics of kitty cats on Saturday July 9, and fans will be allowed to bring cats on leashes or carriers to the ballpark for the game.

This cat promotion is the Cat`s Meow, if the minor league team in my town has a cat promotion, you can bet that I will be attending the game along with my two cats.

I wish every day was CATurday!
