"Art and politics have always gone hand-in-hand, and this afternoon at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, 100 nude women gathered to welcome Donald Trump. . .
They stood facing the Quicken Loans Arena just after dawn, where the RNC was taking place, as part of a large-scale live art installation by photographer Spencer Tunick called `Everything She Says Means Everything.` Holding up large, round mirrors in an empty lot as Tunick snapped away on his camera.
`By holding mirrors, we hope to suggest that women are a reflection and embodiment of nature, the sun, the sky and the land. .. The mirrors communicate that we are a reflection of ourselves, each other, and of, the world that surrounds us. The woman becomes the future and the future becomes the woman.` "
The Republican National Convention doesn`t start until Monday, and the presumptive Republican nominee, Donald Trump, wasn`t in Cleveland to witness the artistic vision of these women.
I`m sure if Trump had been there to witness this performance art he would have had lots to say, and none of it would have been claptrap about these women becoming the future, and the future becoming the woman.
Allow me to channel Trump:
This is huge! I have never seen so many naked women in my life! I think that one at the front is Megyn Kelly; I can see blood coming out of her " whatever! Why are these crazy broads holding up mirrors? If these girls show up at my next campaign speech, I`m going to order my security to let them stay for as long as they want.
