Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton accepted the Democratic Party presidential nomination Thursday night, thereby becoming the first woman nominated for the office by a major political party.
You`d think that at such a historical moment of personal triumph that Hillary would deliver the most emotional and exciting speech of her political career.
But Hillary oozes ennui, I turned off the TV five minutes into her address. Hillary needs to modulate her tone, she has one default setting (scream), and she shouted her entire speech.
Delegates supporting Sen. Bernie Sanders attempted to drown her out by chanting, many of them walked out in the middle of her lecture. I imagine there were thousands of viewers at home shouting at their TV`s: Oh just shut up, you screeching witch!
The cardinal rule for a politician is: Don`t be boring! Donald Trump may be many things, but he`s never boring. Hillary needs to sit at the feet of Trump, and learn from a master showman.
