Fallen Purse Strands Roller Coaster Riders for 45 Terrifying Minutes

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A passenger`s purse falling onto a track along the California Screamin` roller coaster at California Adventure this morning automatically shut down the ride, said Suzi Brown, a Disneyland spokeswoman.

Firefighters rescued 15 passengers stuck about 30 feet above the ground.

The roller coaster stopped operating about 12:20 p.m. said Anaheim Police Sgt. Daron Wyatt. Firefighters were using a bucket truck to lower three or four passengers at a time to safety.

Those aboard the ride were stranded for about 45 minutes, Wyatt said."

I don`t know what I would find more terrifying: Walking around with a purse or riding a roller coaster. But if I did ride a roller coaster I wouldn`t carry a purse or anything else, because I would be so scared out of my wits that I would drop anything that was in my hand.

Some women simply can`t go anywhere without clutching a purse, and this moron rode the California Screamin` roller coaster with her purse, and of course she dropped it on the tracks, which automatically shut down the ride.

Fifteen passengers were stranded on the ride for 45 minutes, and they had to be rescued by firefighters.

I`m sure those hapless riders wished they had something in their hands that they could throw at the woman.
