Dog Breaks Out of Three Doors to Escape From Animal Shelter

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A German Shepherd pulled an El Chapo when she escaped out of  a California animal shelter through three doors.

The two-year-old dog, Ginger, was brought into the Apple Valley Animal Shelter last Saturday because her homeless owner could no longer take care of her.

"Her previous owner didn`t want her to live out of a vehicle,` Gina Whiteside told

Ginger was determined, however, not to be trapped. That afternoon she jumped over and out of her six-foot kennel and managed to open three closed doors, in what Whiteside said she thinks was an attempt for the pup to get back to her owner."

I can`t imagine a worse fate for a man or beast than to be homeless in the mean streets of Detroit.

Ginger`s owner didn`t want to subject his beloved pooch to the hardships of living out of a car so he turned her in to the animal shelter.

But a dog would rather live in a beat-up old car with his owner than in a mansion with strangers, so the clever canine escaped from the animal shelter.

Three days later Ginger was found a few blocks from her previous owner`s house and she was returned to the shelter.

I`m praying that Ginger and her owner will be reunited in a new home.
