9/11 becomes an "Obsession" in Dearborn
DEARBORN, MI: Today marks the seven-year anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks against our nation at the World Trade Center in New York, -- where a special screening of the film, Obsession: Radical Islam`s Against the West, will be presented.
"[Obsession sets] to show that we will stand against radical Islamists in every part of America, and expect of all citizens - regardless of political affiliation, race, religion, etc...", said Joe Wierzbicki, "to be willing to publicly denounce Islamic jihadists who use the tactics of terror, fear and bloodshed to advance their extremist ideology."
The film will be shown at AMC Fairlane on Michigan Avenue in Dearborn, who has been called the "Muslim Capital of America". Wierzbicki, who has worked with the pro-troop organization Move America Forward, believes that Obsession is "ground-zero in the effort to fight back against radical Islam".
"It is imperative", he states, "that we continue to keep Americans focused on the fact that radical Islamic jihadists really do want to kill Americans and undermine the U.S. and other Western nations.
"And it is also time we put a spotlight on some organizations that denounce terrorism in public while in the dark shadows of obscurity provide assistance and funding to known terrorists."
Tickets are free, and people coming can RSVP via email at ObesssionDearborn@yahoo.com.
