Robyn Freedman Spizman is a nationally recognized television personality, lecturer and author of dozens of how-to books including Author 101â„¢ (co-authored with Rick Frishman), The Thank You Book, When Words Matter Most, The Giftionary and with Tory Johnson, she co-authored The Women For Hire books. As a consumer advocate and one of the country`s leading gift giving experts, Robyn has appeared for over 20 years in Atlanta on NBC WXIA-TV and on Star 94 with a show titled The Giftionary based on her book.

Named one of Atlanta`s leading women in business by Business To Business Magazine, her advice and books have been featured extensively in the media including The Today Show, CNN, The Discovery Channel, CNNfn, USA Radio Network, USA Weekend, USA Today and many more. Rick Frishman, the founder of Planned Television Arts, has been one of the leading book publicists in America for over 30 years.

Rick continues to work with many of the top book editors, literary agents and publishers in America, including Simon and Schuster, Random House, Wiley, Harper Collins, Pocket Books, Penguin Putnam, and Hyperion Books. He has also been featured in the New York Times,Wall Street Journal, Associated Press, Selling Power Magazine, New York Post and scores of publications.

He is the co-author of eight books, including national best-sellers GUERRILLA PUBLICITY and NETWORKING MAGIC. He recently launched the popular four-book series, AUTHOR 101.

Rick`s new book, WHERE`S YOUR WOW? (with co-author Robyn Spizman) will be released by McGraw Hill in March 2008.

He is the co-host (with attorney Richard Solomon) of the radio show Taking Care of Business, which airs every Thursday from 2:00-3:00 pm on WCWP-Radio in Long Island New York (

Rick has a B.F.A. in acting and directing and a B.S. from Ithaca College School of Communications.

He is a sought after lecturer on publishing and public relations and is a member of PRSA and the National Speakers Association.

Rick and his wife Robbi live in Long Island with their three children, Adam, Rachel and Stephanie, and a cockapoo named Rusty.
