Judyth Piazza interviews teen celebrity Hunter Gomez, Co-Star of Horrorween 2007

14 year old Hunter Gomez is widely recognized as young Nicolas Cage in Walt Disney`s National Treasure, and for his various characters on Fox`s new seasons of The Family Guy but Hunter`s resume doesn`t start there!! Hunter has most recently finished filming The Blacksmith and The Carpenter with Robert Picardo and A Merry Little Christmas. He has also just recorded his first single called "My Greatest Gift." It will be released the summer of 2006. Hunter has another new film, Rocketboy, also in post-production where he enjoyed getting to work with a chimpanzee. Hunter`s newest project is Horrorween, filming in California, Fall of 2006.

In the summer of 2003, Hunter got his first role on ABC`s According to Jim as Jules. Hunter went on to play the smaller versions of today`s hottest celebrities. Hunter has plated young Goose Gossage on The John Henson Project, as well as the Young Arnold Schwarzenegger in VH1`s Arnold Schwarzenegger: A VH1 Popumentary, young Justin Timberlake in the Nick and Jessica Variety Hour and of course the young Nicolas Cage and young Robert Picardo.

Most recently Hunter has taken on a new passion as a talk show host, hosting his very own talk show, On Set With Hunter Gomez. His pilot episode was a success so we hope to see it air on national TV soon!

This young Hollywood star is not only making a name for himself on the screen, he is also commanding attention for his work in the political world as well. This past February, Gomez threw his youthful star power being two pieces of legislation designed to attract more film business in his hometown, Arizona. Hunter joined local actor/producer Rick Schroder at a state Capitol news conference to support two bills (1346 and 1347) that would offer incentives to lire filmmakers to keep their business in Arizona. This would keep more talent and money inside the state`s borders. The Arizona Republic states, "He spoke with the clarity and confidence of someone three times his age." The convincing support for Senate Bills 1346 and 1347 from Gomez drew loud applause."

Aside from acting, Hunter loves school as well as animals and volunteers time to various animal rescue efforts. He has four cats and two dogs, they are all rescue animals. Hunter is extremely close to his family and credits them to his success! Hunter is definitely a kid to watch as he rises to fame, both on the screen and on off.
