Stealing From Toddler's Piggy Bank Gets Crook 6 Years in the Big House

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A man has been convicted of sneaking into a 2-year-old girl`s bedroom and stealing $20 from a piggy bank while she slept and was sentenced to six years in prison. Four-time convicted burglar Ryan Mueller, 31, was convicted Thursday after a two-day jury trial of felony burglary as a repeat offender."

Associated Press

Sometimes we act impulsively and make a huge mistake that we regret for the rest of our life. But this creep didn`t act impulsively, it took planning and stealth to break into a house, creep into a toddler`s bedroom and steal from her piggy bank. At any point in the process, he could have changed his mind and left the child`s piggy bank undisturbed.

Mueller will now have six long years in the Big House to ponder his foolish and egregious crime.

When his fellow inmates find out that he is behind bars because he stole $20 from a toddler, he will be as helpless as a child as the prisoners have their way with him.

Mueller has been convicted of burglary four times, when he gets out of prison I have no doubt he will return to his old ways. Every state should have a "three strikes" law; Mueller should spend the rest of his miserable life behind bars.
