Pooch Caught On Tape Shoplifting A Bone
"Surveillance video at a supermarket in this Salt Lake City suburb caught a dog shoplifting, KSL-TV reported Wednesday.
The video showed the dog walking in the front door of Smith`s Food & Drug in Murray, and heading straight to Aisle 16, the pet food aisle, where it grabbed a bone worth $2.79."

In these hard economic times most stores have experienced a sharp increase in shoplifting, but apparently things are so bad that dogs are getting into the act.
This cagey canine must have cased out the joint, he went straight to the bone and then ran for the door and made a quick escape.
Or maybe the pooch was trained by his felonious owner to carry out the dastardly deed. I could never train my dog to shoplift a bone, she is too friendly and too curious to carry out a crime that requires haste. Mandy would stop and lick every shopper and smell every item in the store before grabbing the bone.
The store owner may have a bone to pick with the hound, but I admire the beast`s ingenuity and determination. I hope the surveillance video doesn`t end up on "America`s Most Wanted", that show has been around forever and it`s already going to the dogs.
