Cow With Attitude Knocks Over Lady And Tramples Her Legs
"A woman escaped serious injury and refused medical treatment after a cow knocked her down and walked on her legs. Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks ranger Pete Taylor said the woman was riding her bicycle along the South Boulder Creek Trail on Monday when she encountered the cow and stopped to let the animal cross.
Boulder Mountain Bike Alliance vice president Jason Vogel called the incident `odd, rare and random.`"
The Associated Press
If you`re riding a bike and out of politeness and consideration you stop to let a cow cross the road, and the ungrateful beast knocks you down and tramples your legs, that`s a pretty good indication that karma is catching up with you.
I like Vogel`s succinct description of the unusual incident: Odd, rare and random. It`s definitely odd, I`ve heard of tipping over sleeping cows, but I`ve never witnessed a cow tipping over a human being.
I certainly hope it`s rare, I would hate to think that most cows have a nasty disposition. If I stop to let a cow cross the road, I would expect it to moo and be on its way.
And I pray that a cow knocking over a person is a random act; It`s scary to imagine that there`s a cow with a vendetta against me -- just waiting to knock me over and walk over my legs.
