Lady Fails Written Test For Driver's License 771 Times

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A woman in South Korea who has taken the written exam required for a driver`s license nearly every day since 2005 has failed again - but is hoping attempt No. 772 will be the charm.

The aspiring driver took her first test in April 2005, according to Choi Young-chul, an official at the North Jeolla Province driver`s license agency in Jeonju, 150 miles (240 kilometers) south of Seoul."

The Associated Press

If at first you don`t succeed try again, but if you`ve failed after 771 times to pass a written exam maybe it`s time to quit. I tried scores of times to program a VCR (remember those?), but I finally gave up in frustration.

If this hapless woman ever passes the written test she will still have a road test to overcome before she can get behind the wheel of her own vehicle. With her track record she may crash a hundred cars before she manages to pass the road test.
This woman, whose identity has yet to be revealed, is 68-years-old, maybe she should settle for cruising around in a Hoveround. You don`t need to ace a written or road test to own a power chair.
