Janitor Throws Away Student's 7-Year Collection Of Lizard Dung

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A British university has apologized to a Ph.D. student for throwing away his treasured, seven-year collection of lizard dung. Daniel Bennett has told Times Higher Education magazine that he had collected the dung in the Philippines while studying the rare butaan lizard, a relative of the Komodo dragon. The material was to be studied as part of his doctoral research."

The Associated Press

The collection of feces was thrown away by the cleaner who made no distinction between exotic lizard waste and regular crap.

This odd AP article illustrates the fact that one man`s dung is another man`s treasure. This is a crazy world and I wouldn`t have been surprised if the pile of excrement was an art student`s masterpiece.

The PH.D student should realize that sh** happens and not blame the janitor who was only doing his job. But the outraged student is blaming someone with deeper pockets than the janitor, he is suing the university. He has rejected the university`s compensation offer of $750.

This guy is a real winner, he spends seven years collecting manure in the Philippines. He planned on studying the lizard stools as part of his doctoral research. Instead of offering him $750 the university should present him with a bag of steaming doo-doo.
