Would You Watch Blago Or Octomom In A Reality Show?

By Robert Paul Reyes

Andy Warhol said that everyone would be famous for fifteen minutes, but that quotation is so 1960`s. An updated version of Warhol`s famous quote is that everyone will have a reality show.

There are hundreds of cable TV stations, and reality programming is very inexpensive to produce. Unfortunately, this means that every has-been and never-was has his one reality show.

Even if a person who was never famous, but who is related to a celebrity has a good chance of starring in a reality show. Did you give Justin Timberlake a wedgie in elementary school? Get an agent to represent you, and you will probably get your own reality show.

The most recent individuals who are in the process of getting a reality show are Octomom and Blago. Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich who has been indicted on various corruption charges may be joining the cast of the reality show, "I`m a Celebrity! Get Me Out of Here! This Survivor-like reality series strands several quasi-celebrities in a Costa Rican jungle. Hopefully Blago will soon be saying "I`m a Celebrity! Get Me Out of Here" from behind bars.

In the old days a politician who was indicted on corruption charges would be too ashamed to show his face in public. But Blago has been interviewed on every cable news program and broadcast channel entertainment show since he was indicted.

Octomom is also desperately trying to get her own reality show, she is determined to squeeze as much cash from her litter as she can. Octomom and her lawyers are currently in negotiations with a UK production company, don`t be surprised if you see her soon starring in her own reality show.

I will not watch the Blago or Octomom reality shows, I have no intentions of enriching a corrupt politician or a selfish and self-centered nutcase.
