"Faithful" Claim To See Image Of Virgin Mary On Hospital Window

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A Massachusetts hospital is trying to figure out what to do with a window in which some Catholics claim to see an image of the Virgin Mary.

Hundreds of faithful gathered last October to view the second-story office window at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, about 80 miles west of Boston. They wept and prayed.

The Catholic hospital removed the window after the crush of visitors caused traffic problems. It`s storing the window at a secret location." The Associated Press

Whenever there`s a slice of toast with an image of Jesus Christ, or a statue that reportedly sheds tears the press always describes the people who flock to see the "miracle" as "the faithful". Why can`t just one newspaper of TV reporter describes these people as idiots or losers who don`t have a life?

The Catholic hospital should stop encouraging superstition, and simply wash the window, instead of hiding it like it`s a precious icon.

If an image that looked like the Virgin Mary suddenly appeared in my window and it attracted a lot of idiots, I would paint it over with a picture of a naked porn star. Not really, I would sell the damn thing on eBay.
