Traces of Cocaine Found in Red Bull Energy Drink

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Six states in Germany have banned the popular energy drink Red Bull, after testing found trace amounts of cocaine.

Germany`s Federal Institute for Risk Assessment said the product`s cocaine levels were too low to pose a health risk.

Red Bull says its product is harmless, saying that similar coca leaf extracts are used across the world for flavor."

Now I know why Red Bull is Linds*y Lohan`s drink of choice. Maybe if girlfriend didn`t drink so much Red Bull she wouldn`t be tweaking so much.

I doubt that other energy drinks or soda pops use coca leaf extracts for flavor, why would they risk having their products banned? Red Bull is probably the only company so clueless that they would use coca leaves for flavoring.

Even if Red Bull didn`t have any coca leaf extracts it`s still not a safe product to consume.

"The results of a study conducted in 2008 showed that the ingestion of one, 250mL can of sugar-free Red Bull, in a sample of 30 healthy young adults, had an immediate detrimental effect on both endothelial function, and normal blood coagulation. This temporarily raised the cardiovascular risk in these individuals to a level comparable to that of an individual with established coronary artery disease.

Based on their results, researchers involved with the study cautioned against the consumption of Red Bull in individuals under stress, in those with high blood pressure, or in anyone with established atherosclerotic disease." Wikipedia.Com

The simple fact that Britn*y Spears and Linds*y Lohan love Red Bull is reason enough not to touch the stuff. Don`t be a bimbo: Don`t drink Red Bull!
