Robber Returns, Asks Victim For Date

Robber Returns, Asks Victim For Date

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A man suspected of robbing a North Side woman apparently couldn`t resist returning to her home to ask for a date.

Stephfon Bennett, 20, didn`t succeed in his quest, authorities say. Bennett is in the Franklin County jail, charged with aggravated robbery. Bond has been set at $100,000."

Bennett and two other men robbed a woman and her husband, and less than two hours later he came back to ask the victim for a date.

You aren`t going to have much luck hitting on a married woman, but to ask her for a date after you`ve robbed her reduces your chances to zero.

Sure enough, the woman recognized the robber and she called the police and the love-smitten robber was arrested in front of her home.

The moral of this story? That`s obvious: Don`t combine work and romance!
