"Evansville police report a suspect, later observed on a store security camera, walked out of the Pet Food Center on North First Avenue around 6:30 p.m. Thursday with a $130 ferret tucked in his pants.

A store employee had noticed the suspect handling an albino ferret and asked if he needed assistance. The suspect said no and put the ferret back in its enclosure.

I`ve heard of shoplifters stuffing expensive cuts of meat in their pants, but a live ferret?

Tucking a ferret in his pants wasn`t a very bright idea, the little creature could have become agitated and bitten off his manhood.

Th suspect, Rodney Bolton, was arrested by the police, but what the cops do to him will be child`s play if animal activists ever get a hold of this idiot.

At least it wasn`t Richard Gere who stole the ferret.
