"In Brazil, famed for its tiny bikinis and carefree attitude, a university student has been expelled after violent protests by students outraged at the short outfit she wore on campus.
The Universidade Bandeirante (Uniban) said it had expelled the student, Geysi Villa Nova Arruda, 20, for `flagrant disrespect of ethical principles, academic dignity and morality,` in a statement published in some Sunday newspapers.
Her dress sparked student protests on October 22 in this largely Roman Catholic country." Reuters
Brazil may be a Roman Catholic country, but it has a well-earned reputation as a hedonistic paradise. Visitors come to Brazil to ogle at the topless women on the beaches, and to patronize the countless sex clubs and stri*per bars.
During Mardi Gras ladies parade on the streets wearing floss in lieu of a bikini, and pasties instead of a bra. Why on Earth do the Brazilian students have their panties in a twist over a hottie wearing a short dress?
The Roman Catholic students should be praising God that a heavenly angel has deigned to come down to Earth. Geysi is a beautiful young lady, and I hope that she transfers to a university in my town. We would welcome her with open arms, and she wouldn`t be harassed for dressing in an eye-pleasing way.
