"A 74-year-old man has been arrested on tagging charges. Sheriff`s officials say he is the oldest tagger they`ve ever captured.

Some folks may think that the idea of a 74-year-old tagger is comical, but there`s nothing funny about the thousands of dollars in damage this old coot cost taxpayers.

It only takes a second to slap on a sticker to a bus bench or a light pole, but it takes city workers many man hours to remove them.

This old coot should be sentenced to at least a year in jail, or 1,000 community hours removing tags and graffiti.

John Scott is too freakin` old to be worried about making a name for himself, the Grim Reaper is only a couple of steps away from him.
