"A 98-year-old Massachusetts woman has been charged with second-degree murder for allegedly suffocating her 100-year-old nursing home roommate, local media reported. Laura Lundquist is accused of killing Elizabeth Barrow, who was found dead in her room in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, in September with a plastic bag over her head.
Ms Lundquist had frequently complained that her roommate had too many visitors, media reported."

Physicians will evaluate the 98-year-old murderer to see if she is competent to stand trial. Please!! Save the taxpayers thousands in needless expenses, how can you possibly judge the competence of a senile old bat who has one foot on the grave, and the other on a banana peel?
A murder trial for a defendant who is older than dirt would be a farce of epic proportions. There`s no guarantee that she would survive the trial, and she wouldn`t survive more than a few weeks in prison. If she`s sentenced to a mental hospital for the criminally insane, how would that be substantially different from living in a convalescent home?
Let`s get real!! If you survive to be as old as Lundquist you can get away with anything, including murder. Follow Robert Paul Reyes on Twitter: http://twitter.com/robertpaulreyes Follow Robert Paul Reyes on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/people/Robert-Paul-Reyes/635451295
