Ohio Strip Joint Holds "Lap Dances For Haiti" Fundrasier

An Ohio strip joint aiming to improve its image used titillation to help needy earthquake victims in Haiti, scoring nearly $1,000 this weekend for International Services of Hope/IMPACT, according to the Toledo Blade." Read more

The "Lap Dances For Haiti" fundraiser was a moderate success, Marilyn`s on Monroe in Toledo raised $1,000. The $10 cover charges collected on Saturday went to an organization that provides food and clothing to Haiti.

Instead of donating the cover charges to the charity, the nightclub should have donated the lap dance fees. A typical lap dance, not that I know from personal experience, will set a horny guy back at least $100.

But at least the nudie bar is doing something to help, and I hope that Marilyn`s shames the churches who aren`t doing anything yet, into joining the Haiti relief effort.
