Dude Lost In Wilderness Chopped Down 4 Power Poles To Attract Investigators

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Utility workers in Canada`s Saskachewan province said a man lost in the northern wilderness chopped down four power poles to attract investigators.

wildernessSaskPower spokesman James Parker said the man was boating May 23 on the Geikie River and became stranded when he could not find a path through the ice on Wollaston Lake, The StarPhoenix, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, reported Tuesday.

The spokesman said the man chopped down four power poles Thursday, causing hundreds of people in the Wollaston Lake settlement to lose electricity." - UPI

An intelligent and responsible person wouldn`t go boating alone in inclement weather, and he certainly wouldn`t chop down four power poles to attract attention to his plight.

This hapless boater caused thousands of dollars of damage, and he left hundreds without electricity. He should be billed for the damages, and he should be prosecuted for vandalism.

This idiot wasn`t named in the UPI article, I hope his hometown paper releases his name so that everyone will know who was to blame for the blackout.

This clown perfectly illustrates the self-absorbed nature of most people today. A couple of decades ago nobody in his situation would have cut down four power poles even if that was their only means of survival.
