UK College Course: How To Walk In Stiletto Heels

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Students have been taught how to walk in stilettos as part of a government-funded course, a south London college said on Wednesday.

heelsThe six-week `Sexy Heels in the City` course was offered as an extra-curricular activity at South Thames College and finished in May.

The college said five students aged between 16 and 50-plus took part in the classes, and said the reactions were overwhelmingly positive.

Professional singer China Whyne -- who has worked with Eric Clapton, Seal and Peter Gabriel -- was paid 750 pounds (1,000 dollars, 900 euros) to teach the six-week course."- AFP
Americans often cringe in horror when we witness the government waste our money on dubious projects. But it seems that the British government is equally adept at wasting money on silly enterprises.

It takes six weeks to teach a person how to walk in heels? I`m not known for busting a move on the dance floor, but even a clumsy dolt like me could learn how to walk in stilettos in a couple of hours.

A professional singer was paid 1,000 euros to teach the students how to walk properly in heels. The clowns at South Thames College could have hired a crackhead hooker to teach the course for ten bucks and a couple of rocks.

The college claims that the result was "overwhelmingly positive" from the students who enrolled in the dubious course. I bet the result wasn`t "overwhelmingly positive" for the taxpayers who paid for this nonsense.
