Finland doesn`t win many international sporting events; I bet that the small country declared a national holiday.

The United States will never host the "Wife-Carrying World Championships", the symbolism involved in a man carrying his wife on his back isn`t very complimentary to women.

It doesn`t have to be the wife that a contestant carries on his back, any woman will do. I think that makes this contest even more insulting to females.

The winner dangled his "wife" upside down over his back. Why would any woman participate in such a humiliating ordeal?
