Egghead Scientists Crack Mystery: Chicken Came Before The Egg

By Robert Paul Reyes

"BRITISH scientists believe they have cracked the answer to the age-old question of which came first, the chicken or the egg?

Researchers have found that a protein called ovocleidin (OC-17) is crucial in the formulation of eggshells, and it is produced in the pregnant hen`s ovaries, the Daily Express reports.

Therefore, the answer to the conundrum must be that the chicken came first.

But the researchers have not yet managed to answer how the protein-producing chicken existed in the first place."

Distinguished scientists, nerdy college students, and drunk yahoos have have debated this question from time immemorial.

Most egghead scientists have been of the opinion that the egg came first, but now they have egg all over their respective faces.

I`m not yoking around, the debate is over, according to these respected scientists, the chicken came first. I`m not a chicken, I will jump into this debate, and declare that of course the chicken came first.

I hope I don`t lay an egg with my logic, but there can`t be a freakin` egg, if there isn`t a chicken around to lay it.

Now that we`ve cracked that riddle it`s time to address another mystery: Why does Donald Duck wear a top but no pants, and Mickey Mouse wear shorts but no top?
