Google Street View "Dead Girl" Is Alive And Well

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Her name might lead you to believe that 10-year-old Azura Beebeejaun is just another golden ticket winner on Willy Wonka`s ill-fated chocolate factory tour. In fact, Beebeejaun isn`t fictional at all. She`s a very real, very alive little girl who caused a kerfuffle when she appeared ... um ... somewhat dead in a Google Street View image.

googleConcerned citizens in St. John`s, Worcester, England alerted police after discovering Beebeejaun`s ominous image in Google Street View, British newspapers report. And who can blame them? Beebeejaun appears lying face down on the sidewalk, arms at her sides, foot dangling from the curb and both her shoes removed."

Google Street View has captured images of drunks, prostitutes, pimps, the infamous horse-boy and other riff-raff. Now it has captured the image of a little girl who appeared to be dead. The girl claims she was unaware of the Google vehicle, and she insists that she was just playing dead for the amusement of her friends. Yeah right, every kid likes to plop down on a dirty street, and pretend to be dead.

Azura is enjoying her 15 minutes of Google fame, in every photograph she has a smile as wide as the Mississippi River.

I doubt that Google Street View will make me famous, with my dreadful luck the Google vehicle will capture my dog taking a dump on my front lawn.
