Man Jumps 39 Stories From Apartment Building And Survives!

By Robert Paul Reyes

"The New York Daily News says 22-year-old Thomas Magill jumped 39 stories from a West Side apartment building, and ended up landing in the back of a red 2008 Dodge Charger. He broke both of his legs and is in critical condition, but survived the fall.

jumperHe crashed through the back window and landed in the trunk.

Car owner Guy McCormack, a construction worker who was across the street when the crash occurred, gave credit to someone else: God.

He dug a set of crystal rosary beads from out of the car and said, `Here`s what saved him!`" More

Most people credit the sturdy construction of the Dodge Charger for saving the man`s life, but the car`s owner credits the crystal rosary beads hanging from the rear view mirror for the miracle.

God is simply not in the equation, this is a tale of a inconsiderate loser who jumped 39 stories from an apartment building into a busy street, and a great American made automobile.

The rosary beads, the air freshener and the Dolly Parton CD in the glove compartment, didn`t play a part in saving Magill`s life.

Magill should thank blind luck and the quality construction of the Dodge Charger.

The vehicle`s owner should be commended for his restraint, he took the damage to his Charger in a good spirit. If some jackass landed on my ride, I would use the crystal rosary beads to choke him to death.

In this story from the Big Apple we see the worst of man exemplifed by Magill who jumps into a busy street, not seeming to care that he could have landed on top of someone. But we also see the good nature of New Yorkers represented by the Charger`s owner who didn`t get all bent out of shape by the damage to his cool machine.

God is simply not in the picture.
