Press Release for the Local Buzz Magazine

Press Release for the Local Buzz Magazine

By Judyth Piazza CEO (Editor)

The Stuart-based Local Buzz has joined the Association of Free Community Papers (AFCP). The organization represents more than 2,000 free-circulation community papers, reaching nearly 40 million homes weekly. Our affiliation with the AFCP will go a long way to increasing our profile in the world of print journalism, " said Jason Collins, Publisher. You can visit the AFCP website at

In just four months, circulation of the Local Buzz has grown to over 30,000 with distributors all along Florida`s Treasure Coast. Known primarily as an Arts & Entertainment publication, the Buzz features a number of widely varying and exciting columns (movie reviews by nationally-acclaimed Roger Ebert, a political forum with a Voice of the Left and a Voice of the Right, a Day in the Life series, a Buzz on the Streets, Health Tips, Travel, Students Views, even a News of the Weird).

We`re excited about our team and how we`ve been accepted by the local community.  From Vero Beach to Stuart, more and more people are talking about the Local Buzz. " Collins added, We`re committed to finding new ways to make our publication the best on the Treasure Coast. "
