A Liason Romance in Italy - Chapter Two

By Garrett Godwin

Chapter Two

Jason and Elizabeth begin to walk as they are leaving Starbucks.

"So, how long are you going to be in Italy, Elizabeth?”  Jason asks.
"For as long as it takes.”  Elizabeth said.  "Until the threat from Helena is over.  Until Lucky is safe."

"Forgive me for saying this, but I'm glad that you're here."
"It's okay and thanks.  It is good to be here."

"Where are you staying?"

"A hotel 30 miles from here."

"Why don't you stay at my apartment?"

"Jason, that's generous of you, but I can't."

"It's no trouble at all.  It'd be good to have a familiar face around here.  Besides, my apartment is not that far.  I won't take no for an answer."

"Well, if you insist, I accept."

"It's official.  I'll call some associates of mine and have they moved your things out of your hotel room and into my apartment."
"Are you sure?  Is there even enough room for my suitcases?  Is there even enough room for me at your place?"

"There is plenty of room, Elizabeth.  Trust me."
"All right, you got yourself a roommate."

Elizabeth and Jason smile and shake hands as they continue walking down to his apartment.

"This is my apartment.”  Jason said as he points his apartment to Elizabeth.  "And this", he points again, "Is my bike”.

"Wow!”  Elizabeth said with excitement when she checks out Jason's bike.  It is a black, sleek, sexy Harley Davidson.
"You want to go for a ride?”  Jason said.

"What about my things?”  Elizabeth worries.
"Don't worry.  I will tell them to call me as soon as they arrive here.  We have time."

"Okay, then.  Let's go."

Jason and Elizabeth hop on the bike, with him at the helm and her as the passenger.  Elizabeth puts on the helmet as Jason starts up the motorcycle.

"Whoa, it's loud!”  Elizabeth shouts.

"You ready?”  Jason shouts back.

"I'm always ready!  Let's ride!"

As they start to go motorcycle riding, Jason and Elizabeth think about nothing but speed and the wind blowing.  Drivers should be aware.  The road of Italy now belongs to the road warriors-- Jason Morgan and Elizabeth Webber.
