A Liason Romance In Italy - Chapter Nineteen

A Liason Romance In Italy - Chapter Nineteen

By Garrett Godwin

As they are exiting, Jason and Elizabeth say their final goodbyes to Cassie and Terry.

"It was very nice to meet you, Cassie-- and then some", Elizabeth said.  "Thank you for everything."

"Oh, you're welcome, my dear", Cassie smiles.  "I am glad that you made your presence here.  But I am even proud that you have proven yourself as an artist."

"It was good to see you two again", Jason said.  "Thanks for the ceremony."

"Just happy to see a couple in love", Terry said.  "You take care of this man, Elizabeth.  And you better be good to her, Morgan, or you'll have to deal with me."

"Oh, don't worry", Elizabeth laughs.  "He will, because I am going to make sure of it."

"Are you now?", Jason asks with a sarcastic smile.

"That's right, and you better remember that."

Jason and Elizabeth share a kiss.

"All right, now", Cassie said.  "You lovebirds better go now, or you'll lose the light."

"She's right, you know", Jason answers.  "I did promise you the light in Italy, right Miss Webber?"

"Why, yes, you did, Mr. Morgan", Elizabeth said.  "Yes, you did."

The couple have another romantic kiss.

"Thanks, Cassie.  Thanks, Terry", Elizabeth said.  "For everything."

"And then some", Terry smiles as everyone laughs.

"Just remember, my dear Elizabeth", Cassie said, "you're always welcome here.  You're now family, the both of you."

"Thank you and we will", Jason said.  "Come on.  Goodbye."

"Bye", Cassie and Terry said as the mother-son duo wave to Jason and Elizabeth, who also said their last goodbyes to them as well as wave to them as they exits Cassie's.

"So, now, where to?", Jason asks.

"Doesn't matter", Elizabeth responds, "just as long as I'm with you.  That is all that matters."

"I love you, Jason Morgan", Elizabeth said.

"I love you, Elizabeth Webber", Jason said.

"And forever."

Always and forever
