Megacon is going to be fabulous and Students of the Unusual will direct some really fun and interesting programs as part of the festivities(see below). Come on out and say "howdy"!
Megacon show hours:
Friday, February 16th from 1pm* – 7pm
Friday - Many other events will be taking place up until 11:30pm
Saturday, February 17th from 10am – 6pm
Saturday – Many other events will be taking place up until 11:30pm

The Third Annual MegaCon Indie Film Festival
This program showcases numerous award-winning independent short films in the genres of action, anime, animation, comedy, horror, superheros, science fiction, and suspense. This selection of films is hosted by 3 Boys Productions the founders of the Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival and the creators of the horror adventure comic series "Students of the Unusual".
Donations will be accepted for the Hero Initiative.
6:30pm - 8:00pm, Room 315B
"Q & A with the Filmmakers"
This is a unique opportunity to meet and discuss independent filmmaking with the filmmakers themselves. Directors, producers, celebrities, distributors, actors, festival coordinators and other special guests will be present to discuss their films featured at the Megacon Indie Film Expo and on the festival circuit. Panel hosted by Terry Cronin of 3 Boys Productions/Students of the Unusual who also hosts the annual Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival.

The Independent Comic Panel
Do you want to make comic books? Learn about the world of independent comic publication by some of the most famous (and possibly infamous) publishers and promoters in the business. Featuring Robert Venditti(The Surrogates), Brian Pulido (Lady Death, Evil Ernie), Chris Staros (Top Shelf), John Taddeo (Zoom Suit), and Jeff Kaufman (Ant) moderated by Terry Cronin (Students of the Unusual)
