Season four of CSI: Miami fought its way onto DVD
The city of Miami has now became a war zone, and Horatio Caine is leading the fight in season four of CSI:Miami, out on DVD.
Horatio Caine (David Caruso) and his team of crime scene investigators face a formidable adversary in the form of the Mala Noche gang, Miami's new breed of criminal. But they also face an even more formidable enemy as they soon discover that there's a mole in their lab, and it is someone they trust.
Eva La Rue (All My Children) joins the cast as the newest team member, Natalia Boa Vista, who has secrets of her own, and becomes involved in a triangle with fellow CSI agents Eric Delko (Adam Rodriguez) and Ryan Wolfe (Jonathan Logo). And speaking of love, H has finally found romance with Marisol, Eric's sister, who also has a secret that will change their relationship forever, setting the stage for season five.
Available on DVD, season four of CSI:Miami features all 25 episodes, featuring extras such as commentaries on episodes like the season opener "From The Grave".
Season four brought in CSI:NY's Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) into Miami in "Felony Flight", a great episode where Mac and H team up to catch a serial killer, leading the chase back to the Big Apple ("Manhattan Manhunt") in Taylor's hometurf.
This season continues to delve more into both the characters and their personal lives in episodes such as "Nailed", in which Ryan's life becomes in jeopardy while the team investigate a nasty divorce and custody case. This episode helps cement a friendship between Ryan and Delko. "Shattered" is another good episode in which Eric is under investigation for purchasing drugs, and you find out the motive of the tension between H and IAB nemesis Rick Stelter.
But as always, CSI:Miami continues to tell the story of Horatio Caine, as his background is revealed more in season four, demonstrating similarities between Caruso and his on screen character. In "Under Suspicion" and "Skeletons", Horatio comes face-to-face with his past in several forms-- such as another antagonist, serial killer Walter Resden. This season shows what drives Horatio Caine to not only protect the innocent, but also that he is a tragic hero blessed with the opportunity to make the wrong things right.
Along with seasons 1-3, watch as Horatio Caine and his team continue keeping the streets of Miami safe in season four of CSI:Miami, available on DVD.
