Vestige of the Vox Populi #27

Vestige of the Vox Populi #27

By Sean Stubblefield

Six year old prodigal singer Connie Talbot enthralls with a beautifully stunning version of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow", on the TV show called Britain's Got Talent.

A phenomenon of such intense and pristine beauty, it captivates and compels you to marvel in awe and wonder.

Not just her singing, but the sublime innocence and uncorrupted purity of childhood she exhibits, with poise and grace that lacks vanity or ambition.

When she's done, we are inspired to ecstatically revel in her victory, enveloped by an overwhelming sensation of satsifaction and celebration, instilled by a feeling of being fortunate and grateful to have witnessed something so gloriously divine. It is as if we have heard the voice of God.

And I'm an atheist!

Takes my breath away. No, I don't have something in my eye. I'm all verklempt.
